Our Story: Light, Music, and Legacy

Our story begins not in a boardroom, but around a kitchen table in Ballybunion. In 2019, father-daughter duo Mike and Ciara decided to blend a shared passion for music with a curiosity for creation. What started as a fun experiment quickly ignited into Kamana Candle.

Based in our studio along Ireland's majestic Wild Atlantic Way, we are inspired daily by the raw beauty of County Kerry—from the crashing waves to the fresh, coastal air. This connection to place is at the heart of everything we do.

Every Kamana Candle is a testament to true craftsmanship. We are an artisan candle-making business where every step, from the first pour to the final label, is done by our hands. We are fiercely committed to our planet, using only an eco-friendly plant-based wax, vegan-friendly and cruelty-free fragrance oils, and clean-burning lead-free cotton wicks.

The entire range is handcrafted in our Ballybunion studio. Our unique signature is pairing fragrance with memory. Every candle is named after a hit song that the scent evokes, creating a sensory experience that blends light, aroma, and melody.
