Our Story: Where it Began

Our story begins at a kitchen table in Ballybunion, Co. Kerry. Back in 2019, my dad and I got into candle making. We loved music, so we started naming each scent after a song it reminded us of. What started as a creative experiment quickly became Kamana.

While my dad has since moved on to other pursuits, I have fully dedicated myself to the vision. Today, Kamana is my work and my focus - to grow it into the definitive brand for intentional, everyday calm.

From our studio, each Kamana candle is individually curated and poured, ensuring every detail aligns with our vision of quiet luxury. I’m committed to doing it kindly - using 100% natural soy wax, vegan friendly fragrances, and clean-burning cotton wicks.

Our core belief is simple: everyone deserves a small, reliable escape. Our original candles were inspired by the mood and memory of classic songs. As Kamana grows, we’re expanding that feeling into new, curated themes - like our upcoming Literary Collection - all designed to help you set the scene for your own moments of peace.
