My Story: Where it Began

My story begins at a kitchen table in Ballybunion, Co. Kerry. Back in 2019, my dad and I got into candle making. We both loved music, so we started naming each scent after the song it reminded us of. What began as a bit of a creative experiment quickly became Kamana.

My dad has since moved on to other things, but I stuck with it and have put my heart into growing Kamana into what it is today. These days it is my work and my focus, making candles that help people slow down and bring a bit of calm into everyday life.

From my little studio in Ireland, each Kamana candle is individually curated and hand-poured, with real care in every detail. I try to do it kindly too, using 100% natural soy wax, vegan-friendly fragrances, and clean-burning cotton wicks.

At the heart of Kamana is a simple belief: everyone deserves a small, reliable escape. Our original candles were inspired by the mood and memory of classic songs. As Kamana grows, I am bringing that same feeling into new themes too, like the Literary Collection, all designed to help you set the scene for your own moments of peace.
